Risk description: The fuel return hose may be of the wrong specification. During the manufacturing process, a mistake was made by the supplier, so vulcanized hoses were mixed with unvulcanized ones. Due to the incorrect process, the hoses themselves may lose their elasticity and thermal capacity, which can cause a poor connection between the fuel return hose and the tap, causing fuel leakage. Fuel leakage through the heated parts of the engine exhaust can lead, in the worst case, to a fire.
